One can barely consider her a plein aire artist as her passionate love of colour and texture dominate her paintings so profoundly in a very unusual manner. Observing her paintings and watching her work evolve over the past thirty years has been an inspiration for me. She now alters the landscape to the point of abstraction with colour brilliantly unusual and often surprising.

The exhibition at the SFMOMA Artists' Gallery, which was my pleasure to curate, shone with her unique vision. Judy Molyneux is an artist of enormous strength and individuality.
